Realizing a vision

Garver led the design of the civil airfield components for the new Kansas City International Airport terminal. The project included new apron geometrics, pavement system, glycol collection system, airfield drainage system, hydrant fueling system, airfield utilities, ground service equipment staging areas, glycol storage and distribution facilities, centralized deicing pads, and glycol detention basin improvements. In addition, Garver led the development of the Construction Safety and Phasing Plans and Obstruction Evaluation/Airport Airspace Analysis for the entire Terminal Development Program.
