Garver developed plans and specifications to construct a 100-by-120-foot, open-bay hangar with attached 8,000-square-foot, two-story office and shops to serve as the primary fixed base of operation for the airport. The facility also includes employee and tenant parking, a passenger drop-off area, and a covered and contained parking area for two 10,000-gallon fuel tanks and two 3,000-gallon mobile refuelers. The facility provides jet fuel for small and medium-sized planes, along with storage, maintenance, and management services.
The facility is located on the previously undeveloped west side of the airport. Garver also designed the fire protection, stormwater detention, domestic water service, and sanitary sewer collection and treatment systems to support other developments within the northwest apron development area.
