Increasing a critical supply
When City Corporation of Russellville needed a way to better serve its industrial water customers, Garver provided comprehensive services to make it happen. The end result was a 1 million-gallon elevated water storage tank designed to provide redundancy and fire flow, while increasing water supply in an important industrial area of town.
Garver worked with City Corp and the Federal Aviation Administration on site selection, and the firm provided survey, design, bidding services, and more for the new water tank. In addition, Garver utilized computer modeling software to determine how the tank would perform in the distribution system. This allowed Garver to predict system pressures, available water supply for potential new industrial customers, and fire flow improvements.
