As a fifth-generation resident of Dallas, Georgia, Moss has dedicated his career to providing innovative water and wastewater solutions to communities across his home state. Along with his local expertise, Moss will coordinate the vast resources provided by Garver’s water, wastewater, and water technology experts to responsively support his clients.

“To take on the challenge of starting a new office, we look for unique leadership traits, all of which are exemplified in Ben,” said Garver Director of Water Services Jeff Sober, PE. “These traits include experience and expertise delivering custom water and wastewater solutions, leadership roles in professional organizations, and most importantly, the passion to positively impact the communities they live and work in.“

Moss comes to Garver with over a decade of experience working with Georgia utilities including Paulding County, City of Atlanta, Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority, Gwinnett County, and others. Because of his extensive Georgia experience, Moss brings an unparalleled understanding of local issues and concerns facing his home state.

“Coming to Garver is more than an opportunity to provide quality water and wastewater infrastructure to our clients throughout Georgia,” Moss said. “It’s a chance to provide safe, clean water to my family’s longtime home and support a state that has given me so much throughout my life.”

Over the last decade, Moss has worked with municipal and industrial clients on a wide range of water and wastewater projects, covering the span of the treatment cycle and critical rehabilitation of infrastructure. His projects have ranged from conventional to advanced process methods to system and facility optimization and detailed evaluations and analyses.

In addition, Moss is a part-time professor of fluid mechanics and has served high water-use industrial clients with subsurface infrastructure assessments to identify risk and develop solutions.

Moss also serves as Vice-Chair of the Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP) Water Treatment Committee and has presented multiple times at the annual GAWP Conference.

He will be based in Garver’s Atlanta office, located at 800 Battery Avenue SE, Suite 100, Atlanta, GA 30339.
