Renovation improves U.S. Army facility
Garver and The Ross Group redesigned the second floor of Knox Hall at Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma, to provide the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) staff with private offices, upgrades to rooms for secured classified conversations, and improved restrooms. In a design-build project that served as the first renovation to the building since the 1960s, Garver provided structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection design. The project upgraded the 55,600-square-foot second floor of Knox Hall, which involved ceiling, wall and floor removal, antiterrorism/fire protection measures, new interior construction, and new electrical systems, including power, lighting, telecommunication, and fire alarms.
