Garver’s Aviation Team maintains a diverse, skilled design team dedicated to providing the expertise and leadership to assist our clients in meeting both current and future needs.

Garver’s Austin, Texas office is looking for a project manager to join our diverse, skilled team. The Airfield Project Manager will have the opportunity to manage a wide array of aviation projects with general and commercial aviation clients. These efforts will be supported in their efforts by an accountable, organized staff of experienced engineers. This position is suited to technically savvy engineers who thrive on collaborating with colleagues to create lasting, quality infrastructure.Responsibilities for this role include:

• Project management of aviation design projects for commercial service and general aviation airports
• Construction administration and oversite for aviation clients
• Collaborate and coordinate with multi-disciple design engineers and technicians
• Provide outstanding client service

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably with aviation project experience
• Responsive and consistent in communications
• Proficient in design software packages such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, aviation specialty programs
• Travel will be required with occasional overnight stays.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working with a multi-disciplined team while overseeing project execution
• Experience in managing design and construction projects at airports
• Licensed pilot or other aviation-related experience
