IIJA Turns Two: Past Performance and a Look to the Future
On Nov. 15, 2023, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) had its two-year anniversary. How has the five-year funding bill performed so far? This Transportation Tuesday discussion will review how well government agencies have done putting the money to work and look at some of the challenges that have arisen. Because it’s never too early to start thinking about the future of federal infrastructure funding, the presentation will also discuss what comes after IIJA expires at the end of FY 26.
