Accelerated bridge construction (ABC) techniques are becoming increasingly utilized as owners begin to realize and experience the benefits associated with these innovative methods. Not only are these techniques saving owners money, but they are also creating safer work zones; producing more durable, longer-lasting bridges; and reducing mobility impacts. In this presentation, we highlight how ABC techniques are to be used for the US 51 Bridge Replacement Project in Pike County, Mississippi.
