- Strategic Planning and Vision:
- Collaborate with CHRO to align administrative strategies with overall business goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement long-term plans for administrative services, including resource allocation.
- Operational Management:
- Oversee all aspects of administrative functions including facilities management, office services, office supplies, records management, travel arrangements, and employee expenses.
- Manage and optimize administrative budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and accountability.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive administrative policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and develop a team of administrative staff, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and succession planning.
- Foster a collaborative work environment within the administrative team and promote effective communication across departments.
- Identify training needs and implement programs to enhance administrative skills and knowledge.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to all relevant administrative compliance requirements, including data privacy, safety protocols, and legal regulations.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks associated with administrative operations.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, department heads, and employees to understand their needs and address concerns. ROLE WILL REQUIRE TRAVEL TO GARVER OFFICES TO BUILD STRONG FOUNDATIONS WITH LOCAL LEADERSHIP.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding administrative policies, updates, and initiatives.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of managing and leading administrative teams in a complex organization. 6+ years managing a team of 15+ people. Prior experience in a matrix management environment is preferred.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align administrative strategies with overall business goals and anticipate future needs.
- Operational Excellence: Expertise in process improvement, efficiency optimization, and streamlining administrative functions.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting principles and ability to manage administrative expenses effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to diverse stakeholders. Ability to partner with a variety of individuals and drive performance to excellence.
