Garver's Aviation Team is seeking a motivated Aviation Electrical Engineer Intern to join our team in Fayetteville, Arkansas during the summer of 2025.
As part of the Aviation Team, you will have the opportunity to receive training from senior engineers in various elements of aviation electrical engineering design, including airport lighting and signage layout, airfield power distribution design, and FAA navigational aid facility improvements.
Internship Description:
- Work alongside and be mentored by experienced aviation design professionals and industry leaders.
- Work in an engineering office environment experiencing daily interactions with engineering staff, including weekly team meetings, design progress meetings, and construction progress meetings.
- Receive training from senior engineers in various elements of airport lighting, photometric design, power distribution design, and construction administration for commercial service and general aviation airports.
- Gain experience in plan and specification preparation for aviation projects.
- Conduct site visits to see Garver's aviation projects in real life, such as airport hangars, taxiways, and runways.

Requirements:
- Candidates must be pursuing an electrical engineering bachelor’s degree in an ABET accredited program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong interest in pursuing electrical engineering in the aviation industry.
