Garver's experienced Aviation Team in the North Little Rock office is seeking a motivated civil engineering student to join our team during the summer of 2026 to train and mentor as an Aviation Civil Engineering Intern.
Internship Description:
- Work alongside and be mentored by experienced aviation design professionals and industry leaders.
- Receive training from senior engineers in various elements of airfield pavement design, pavement maintenance, airport lighting, and construction oversight for general aviation and commercial service airports.
- Visit Garver’s Aviation project sites, such as airport hangars, taxiways, and runways.
- Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry by assisting with project administration, submitting proposals, and grant applications.

Requirements:
- Must be pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program
- Interest in pursuing civil engineering in the aviation industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred skills:
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Microstation
