Garver’s Florida Aviation Team is looking for an aviation team leader to join our diverse, skilled team. The Aviation Civil Project Manager will have the opportunity to manage a wide array of aviation projects with general and commercial aviation clients. Your efforts in this role will be supported by an accountable, organized staff of experienced professionals. This position is suited to technically savvy engineers who thrive on collaborating with colleagues to create lasting, quality infrastructure and satisfied clients.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Project management of aviation design projects for commercial service and general aviation airports
- Construction administration and oversite for aviation clients
- Market research and business development to create/ expand industry relationships to pursue and win engineering and planning projects at commercial service and general aviation airports
- Collaborate and coordinate with multi-disciple teams of design engineers and technicians
- Provide outstanding client service

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably with aviation project experience
- Responsive and consistent in communications
- Proficient in design software packages such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, aviation specialty programs
- Travel will be required with occasional overnight stays
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience working with a multi-disciplined team while overseeing project execution
- Experience in construction administration for development projects at airports
- Licensed pilot or other aviation-related experience
