Garver’s Austin office is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our diverse, skilled team. The Senior Project Manager will have the opportunity to manage a wide array of aviation projects with general and commercial aviation clients. These efforts will be supported in their efforts by an accountable, organized staff of experienced engineers. This position is suited to technically savvy engineers who thrive on collaborating with colleagues to create lasting, quality infrastructure.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Project management for both horizontal and vertical design projects at general aviation and commercial service airports.
- Significant design and construction oversight for multiple general aviation and commercial service clients.
- Collaborating and/or coordinating design teams consisting of multi-discipline design engineers and technicians.
- Coordination with clients and funding agencies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 12+ years civil engineering experience
- 8+ years of experience in aviation related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer with the ability to register in Texas
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Travel may be required with occasional overnight
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience managing a multi-disciplined team while overseeing airport improvement project execution
- Licensed pilot or other aviation-related experience
