Garver’s growing Field Services team is looking for a CEI Business Team Lead for the DFW region. This person would have regional scope and will assist in building a team and provide CEI/CMI services for various clients such as municipalities, counties, water departments, and water authorities/districts.
A successful CEI/CMI Team lead will be a team-oriented leader, with deep expertise in leading major construction projects, ability to provide exceptional customer service, and be able to engage in business pursuits.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of construction professionals in the Construction Engineering/Management and Inspection (CEI/CMI) field.
- Market research and business development to create/expand industry relationships, pursue and win engineering and construction projects in Texas
- Perform accurate project revenue and cost financial forecasting.
- Participate in bid review and bid closing to ensure accuracy of bid and evaluate project feasibility
- Significant construction oversight for multiple clients.
- Coordination with clients and funding agencies.
- Oversee and coordinate CEI projects, ensuring compliance with quality, performance, and code requirements.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and clients.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Monitor project progress, address issues, and ensure timely completion.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- CCM or PMP preferred
- Minimum 15 years of experience in CEI, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and inspection techniques.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to recruit and grow the CEI team.
