- Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations inquiries, addressing routine questions related to policies, procedures, and workplace concerns; escalate complex issues to HR leadership as needed
- Act as the intake liaison for employee complaints, conducting initial assessments and ensuring proper documentation
- Conduct preliminary interviews and gather relevant information for employee relations cases, including harassment allegations, workplace complaints, and policy violations
- Partner with managers and supervisors to provide guidance on company policies, performance management, and disciplinary procedures
- Maintain accurate and confidential records for all employee lifecycle events, including resignations, terminations, transfers, and promotions
- Prepare and manage employee relations documentation, including Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and corrective actions
- Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews; analyze feedback, identify trends, and present insights to HR leadership
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations (EEO, affirmative action, etc.) and apply this knowledge when advising employees and leaders
- Promote a positive employee relations philosophy aligned with Garver standards and organizational values

- Solid understanding of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices
- Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and legal guidelines effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, employee relations experience preferred
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
