Garver's Human Resources department is looking to fill the opening of an Executive Assistant/HR Specialist position in our Rogers, Arkansas office. This role will support the CHRO and partner with the HR department on HR strategies and practices.
Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Create presentations and provide updates for key leadership meetings
- Analyze data and prepare reports for distribution
- Create and track project-specific trackers to meet established deadlines
- Provide overall support for timesheets, expenses, and travel.
- Develop influential and creative communications to support the HR team's messaging
- Contribute to the creation of office-specific employee engagement activities
- Streamline HR team calendars for maximum impact and efficiency with other Garver teams
- Partner with Recruiting as needed on communications with interns, handling recruiting inbox, opening job requisitions, booking travel and other needed support
- Partner with our Employee Experience team to help with onboarding
- Partner with Talent Development to help with HR rewards and recognition, certificate creation, and other recognition initiatives
- Partner with the safety and total rewards team with vendor management and safety inbox communication.
This role works with the entire HR team to support a 1HR concept to support and drive the “best employee experience mindset for Garver Nation.”
Ideal candidates will have:
- 5+ years in an executive assistant or support of a senior leader experience
- Agility to move from one initiative to the next
- Strong relationship skills
- Strong efficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Past HR experience is a plus
