Invoicer/Contract Specialist

Location: Austin, Texas

Multi-disciplined engineering firm Garver seeks an experienced Invoicer/Contract Specialist to support the transportation business line. Through a centralized project management control system, this position will oversee contract administration for design related, utility, right of way, and construction inspection contracts.
Duties will focus on maintaining a centrally available, unified version of the current contracts, correspondence, and all contract actions.

Additional Responsibilities: 
  • Maintaining and updating contract management procedures
  • Maintaining and updating a standard invoicing review procedure and processing invoices
  • Tracking contract commitments, supplemental agreements and change orders
  • Reporting to Budget Manager on contract status
  • Verifying compliance with contact terms
  • Assisting Budget Manager with payment schedules
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting on status of actual expenditures on the program

Minimum requirements: 
  • Expert user of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or a related field or 5 years relevant experience
  • Proven skills in interpreting contractual agreements is a plus
  • Proficiency in accounting, time management, and personal organization
