Our experienced Transportation Planning and Traffic Team is seeking a civil engineering student to join our team in Austin for Summer 2025 to train and be mentored as a Traffic Engineering Intern.
Internship Description:
- Work alongside our dynamic team and be exposed to many aspects of traffic engineering analysis, planning, and design.
- Receive real-world experience and training in industry-related design software such as Microstation, Synchro, VISSIM, SignCAD, and ArcGIS.
- Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry.
- The successful candidate will be a strong team player with a commitment to becoming a key member of this highly productive design team.

Requirements:
- Must be pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
- Strong interest in pursuing transportation engineering with a focus on traffic engineering.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication (written/oral), problem solving, analytical and creative thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team (both remotely and in-person).
Preferred:
- Prior intern experience, coursework, and research in traffic engineering.
- Familiarity with traffic analysis software.
