Garver is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer in our Dallas-Fort Worth area, Lubbock or Amarillo office to join our established Texas Water team. The Project Engineer will be led by a Project Manager on a team consisting of multi-discipline design engineers and CAD technicians focused production of reports, studies, technical memoranda, plans, details, and specifications. The Project Engineer must be capable of working closely with clients to ensure their expectations of service are exceeded.
This position will be responsible for performing design for a variety of projects, such as:
- Water conveyance and distribution including pump stations and storage facilities
- Wastewater conveyance and collection including pumping/lift stations and force mains
- Water and wastewater treatment plants
- Improvements and retrofitting of existing facilities
- Water, wastewater and reuse master planning

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil, biological, chemical, mechanical, or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 2+ years experience related to design of municipal water/wastewater conveyance and/or treatment systems
- Registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or able to obtain in the next 6 months
Preferred Skills:
- Master’s degree in civil, biological, chemical, mechanical, or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Microstation, GIS, WaterCAD, or SewerCAD experience
- Strong communications skills
- Ability to work independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
