- Shape and implement Garver’s water reuse strategy, positioning our teams and clients for long-term success.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to municipalities, guiding them through the planning, permitting, and execution of advanced reuse projects.
- Provide technical leadership on projects involving advanced treatment technologies such as disinfection, membrane systems, reverse osmosis, UV advanced oxidation and ozonation.
- Support full project lifecycles, from concept and design through construction and commissioning, ensuring delivery on schedule, budget, and quality.
- Partner with Garver’s Area and Client Leaders to pursue and win new opportunities, contributing to proposals, presentations, and client engagement strategies.
- Mentor and grow multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Represent Garver at industry events, technical committees, and professional organizations, enhancing our visibility and influence in water reuse.
- Support research and industry partnerships with utilities, academic institutions, and associations such as WEF, AWWA, WateReuse, and WRF.
- Travel as needed to support client meetings, business development, and project delivery.
- Master’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 10+ years of technical experience in municipal water/wastewater treatment, with a strong focus on water reuse.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
- Ph.D. in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering with an emphasis on water reuse or advanced treatment processes.
- Experience with advanced treatment process modeling and simulation.
- Expertise in treatment process operation and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience pursuing and winning projects related to advanced water reuse.
- Demonstrated leadership in professional associations such as WEF, AWWA, WateReuse, or WRF.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with clients and technical organizations.
- Experience mentoring staff and leading multidisciplinary project teams.
