Dole selected to MSSC board of directors
The Multi-State Salinity Coalition brings together leaders from the public and private sector across a six-state region to promote the advancement of desalination technologies, salinity control strategies, and other techniques that improve access to fresh, sustainable water.
Garver Water Technology Leader Eric Dole, PE, PSAP, will now have a chance to help advance that mission after being selected to serve on MSSC’s board of directors.
“Since easy access to safe and sustainable freshwater is diminishing in some parts of the United States, desalination practices and salinity management have never been more important,” Dole said. “I’m honored to serve on this board, so that I can continue to help communities across the region find solutions to their freshwater needs.”
While serving on the board, Dole, who is based in Garver’s Denver office, will assist the coalition’s mission of coordinating with water providers, federal and state agencies, research organizations, and elected officials in pursuing advancements in not only desalination and salinity management, but also water and energy efficiencies, and related public policies that assist the freshwater needs of communities throughout the region. The MSSC boasts members from Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas.
Dole has long been involved with the MSSC, having served on its planning committee and speaking at its annual conference, which in 2020 will be held in Las Vegas.
