Sardari named to Northwest Arkansas Business Journal's Fast 15 class

Though Kamyar Sardari, Ph.D., has been in the engineering profession for just eight years, his accomplishments and dedication to establish clean, sustainable water sources have been felt in not only Northwest Arkansas, but across Garver’s footprint.

A process design engineer based in Garver’s Fayetteville, Arkansas office, Sardari was recently recognized for his impact and named to Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s latest Fast 15 class. The list celebrates outstanding young professionals across a multitude of industries within the Northwest Arkansas region.

“I chose my career path because as water engineers, we get to have a direct impact on communities and regions we work with,” Sardari said. “By creating clean, reliable water resources, we’re improving the quality of life in those communities, and helping them grow.”

Sardari’s start in engineering has been nothing short of fast-paced. After completing intensive research with the University of Arkansas and receiving his doctorate degree at age 27, he joined Garver as a process engineer. Now, working with Garver’s Water Design Center, Sardari works on the front lines of helping communities and changing lives with sustainable water solutions. Two of his most notable projects include the design of major mechanical improvements at one of Texas’ largest water treatment plants and the development of a master plan for Forth Smith’s Massard Wastewater Treatment Plant.

While Sardari is continually making big strides in his own work, he’s committed to supporting others in theirs, as well. He serves as a peer reviewer for several publications, reviewing peer-written articles that are submitted to the professional communities. Looking to help students fast track their career, Sardari teaches technical writing to recent graduates of the University of Arkansas, as well, specifically international students who are new to English settings.
