White named to NWABJ's Forty Under 40 list
Earlier this week, Garver’s Aviation Operations Manager Adam White, PE, was named as part of the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s Forty Under 40. As a member of the publication’s 25th class, he joins an esteemed group of young professionals from across a range of fields who are being honored for excellence in both their personal and professional lives.
In the accompanying article, the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal highlights a series of White’s accomplishments, particularly his role in founding the Aviation Design Center in Fayetteville and his work associated with more than $500 million in design improvements at airports across the country, including Northwest Arkansas National, Nashville International, and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International.
Resting at the heart of that work is White’s belief in the importance of servant-driven leadership with respect to innovative infrastructure design. However, as the article notes, he knows those principles are just as important outside the office – something clear in both his word and deed alike.
In 2019, he rallied together Garver’s Fayetteville employees for an event that raised $10,000 of a total $30,000 GarverGives donation to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital for its new, state-of-the-art pediatric center in Fayetteville. In addition, White has focused on education, both advising engineering students looking to take the next step in their careers and leading high school students at his home church.
“Adam’s dedication to both his craft and his community has made him a shining example across the Garver Nation,” said Garver Aviation Business Director Frank McIllwain, PE. “He’s not only granted Arkansans better access to their jobs, their homes, their families, and beyond, he’s also connected communities through his volunteer work – and given us all something to aspire to.”
