Development of a Genetic Algorithm Tool for RDII Parameterization

Development and implementation of a genetic algorithm allowed for the automation and optimization of RDII hydrograph parameterization in two case studies. The algorithm determined thousands of RTK parameters to match measured wastewater flow data in 90 different sewer basins for various rainfall events leading to significant time and cost savings.
