This presentation will discuss the stress on water supplies created by population growth and over-allocation of existing supplies. Additionally, ways that water utilities can mitigate impacts by diversifying their water supply portfolio will be discussed. El Paso Water will be used as an example of a utility that balanced water supply diversification with overall water affordability.
