The Garver Communications Team is a group of strategic thinkers and creative doers all steadfastly focused on telling the story we live out every workday — that Garver is the best firm to work for and with. We do this by bringing on the best talent in our respective disciplines and collaborating in a fun, fast-paced environment to execute award-winning creative campaigns.
We’re adding a full-time Senior Graphic Designer to our crew. If you have the industry experience and confidence to apply the Garver brand standards with attention to detail and in new, creative ways, then we’d love to have you join our team.
In this role, you'll develop creative assets for internal communication platforms and campaigns, as well as design on-brand content for a variety of external digital and social platforms. You’ll collaborate with a robust creative team that has the support of a 1,200-person (and growing) firm, willing to go the extra mile to best tell our story.
How you’ll work:
- Collaborating with the brand manager and creative team leads to determine the scope and creative direction for design projects.
- Collaborating with account managers, digital team, copywriters, photographers, and video production team to complete projects from initial concept to a final produced piece.
- Creating brochures, advertisements, apparel, promotional items, presentations, and graphics for print and digital platforms.
- Implementing brand and campaign style guides to develop high-quality, on-brand creative assets on deadline.
- Ensuring all design and messaging aligns with the brand.
- Providing direction to other graphic designers as needed.
- Learning and growing — working with an industry-leading creative team and expanding your skills into new areas.
What you’ll bring:
- You have a strong, varied portfolio of work.
- You have a minimum of five years of experience in a dedicated graphic design role.
- You demonstrate impeccable creative execution and strong attention to detail.
- You think on your feet every day, and pivot and multitask fluidly.
- You have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in design, graphic or multimedia design.
- You’re confident using Adobe Creative Suite programs including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- You’re organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- You’re stimulated by challenges.
- Bonus points if you have experience working with Asana or a similar project management system.
To be considered, you’ll need to submit a cover letter outlining your interest along with a digital portfolio of work samples.
