Highway 51 over Baron Fork Creek

Replacement for increased safety

Constructed in the 1940s, the Baron Fork Creek and Eldon Creek bridges on Oklahoma’s State Highway 51 (SH-51) were structurally deficient and needed to be replaced. And a high number of collisions on SH-51 due to curving terrain and a narrow roadway meant that a reconstruction of the SH-51 and U.S. Highway 62 intersection was also needed. Garver provided preliminary engineering, public involvement, project management, and final design services for the two new bridges and one mile of roadway realignment for the new intersection.
