Garver provided roadway, bridge, and lighting design to widen bridges and upgrade all lighting for those traveling through the City of Meridian, providing more efficient access to residential and commercial areas. The bridge design included widening two pairs of bridges to provide full width inside and outside shoulders and increasing the vertical clearance, and bridge removal, all while maintaining two lanes of interstate traffic in each direction throughout construction. Garver worked with all stakeholders to increase lighting efficiency through the city, extend the life of the bridges, and more.
Garver’s lighting design services rehabilitated and upgraded the existing lighting system for five miles along I-20, improving visibility for travelers through the length of the city. Garver provided design services to upgrade all light fixtures to LED with new bridge-mounted fixtures.
