Route 36 Bridge Rehabilitation

Identifying needed repairs

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) selected Garver’s Transportation Team to perform routine inspection for three separate bridges carrying Route 36 over the Missouri River. Garver’s services include element level inspections, structural rehabilitation checklist, and repair plans. Prior to construction, Garver reviewed the existing plans, records, and previous inspection records. After performing element level inspections, Garver found that the bridges needed several repairs, consisting of concrete overlay, joint replacement, spot painting, and substructure repairs. Garver provided MoDOT with repair plans to address these needs.
