Frank receives T&DI Airfield Pavement Practitioner Award
Garver Aviation Leader Jason Frank, PE, MBA, has spent three decades working with airports large and small on their most critical infrastructure improvement projects. Recently, he was recognized for his contribution and dedication to the industry by being named the 2022 recipient of the T&DI Airfield Pavement Practitioner Award.
This award recognizes practicing engineers employed in the airfield pavement engineering profession who have demonstrated leadership and/or achievement in airfield pavement projects. Frank will be honored at the ASCE International Airfield & Highway Pavements Conference this June in Austin, Texas.

“To be nominated and selected by my colleagues is tremendously humbling,” Frank said. “Delivering and maintaining critical airport infrastructure is vital to the daily operation and continued growth of our communities, and I’m honored to work among a class of professionals who make that happen every day.”
Over the course of his 30-year career, Frank has successfully balanced both large and small, fast-track projects with multiple task orders, serving as project manager on a variety of airfield projects nationwide — including runway, taxiway, and apron projects at Chicago O’Hare, Lambert St. Louis, Washington Dulles and Reagan, Indianapolis International, Brownsville International, and George Bush Intercontinental Airport. He has extensive experience working on complex aviation design and repair projects for both civilian and military airfields and understands the unique challenges airfield improvement projects face.
Frank provides leadership within Garver’s growing Aviation Team capable of delivering sophisticated design solutions across all engineering disciplines, ranging from designing runways and terminal facilities, airfield pavement rehabilitation, and updating lighting systems to maximizing project functionality, funding, and scheduling.
