Garver Chief Communications Officer Laura Nick has been named one of the Women's Foundation of Arkansas’s Top 100 Women of Arkansas, a recognition that honors women making significant contributions to business, philanthropy, and communities across the state.

A nationally recognized communications executive in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, Nick has helped shape Garver's brand, culture, and growth since joining the firm in 2011. As Garver's first Chief Communications Officer, she leads the firm's brand strategy, strategic external engagement, and internal communications, helping position Garver as one of the nation's leading engineering and consulting firms.

Throughout her career at Garver, Nick has championed initiatives that strengthen both the organization and the people across its footprint. She founded GarverGives, the firm's employee-led charitable giving program, which has contributed nearly $3.1 million to nonprofit organizations since 2015 with a strong focus on STEM education. She also helped establish Connect, an employee-led group initially dedicated to the recruitment, retention, and development of women across the company but now open to all.

Beyond her responsibilities at Garver, Nick is an active civic leader throughout central Arkansas. She serves on the boards of the Little Rock Regional Chamber, the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce, where she previously served as board chair, and the Argenta Downtown Council.

"Arkansas has been home for most of my personal and professional journey, and I'm grateful to be recognized alongside so many accomplished women who are making a difference in our state," Nick said. "I've been fortunate to build my career at a company that believes in investing in people, and this recognition is really a reflection of the incredible teams, colleagues, and community partners I've had the privilege to work with."

Garver President and CEO Brock Hoskins said Nick's influence extends far beyond communications and marketing.

"Laura has played an instrumental role in shaping who Garver is today," Hoskins said. "Her leadership has strengthened our culture, elevated our brand, and helped create opportunities for our employees to connect with each other and with the communities we serve. This recognition is a testament to the lasting impact she continues to make across Arkansas and throughout our industry."

Nick's recognition as a Top 100 Women of Arkansas reflects a career defined by strategic leadership, community engagement, and a commitment to helping others succeed. Through her work at Garver and her service across Arkansas, she continues to influence the future of both the engineering industry and her home state.
