Greenville Business Magazine names Chris Gatling to 50 Most Influential list
Since opening Garver’s Greenville office just over a year ago, Chris Gatling, PE, has been making a splash, leading Greenville Business Magazine’s to recognize him as one of its 50 Most Influential businesspeople for 2023.
Over the past year, Gatling has established Garver’s fourth Water Design Center in downtown Greenville, South Carolina, and grown that office to over 30 employees and counting. Not only are he and his team committed to protecting a vital resource for the Greenville community through the work they do at the WDC, they’re also actively engaged in giving back through efforts like the Friends of the Reedy River Fall Cleanup, a food drive for Harvest Hope Food Bank and taking an active role with the South Carolina Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics.
“We’ve appreciated the way Greenville has welcomed Garver with open arms,” said Gatling. “I’m proud to call it home and to be able to contribute to its growth. Garver WDCs are dynamic community partners, and the Greenville WDC is no exception. This is a major resource to our growing offices in the Carolinas and Georgia and I’m excited to see Garver’s influence continue to expand across the footprint.”
Before moving to Greenville, Gatling, who has over 13 years of experience as a civil engineer, was the Civil Team Leader at Garver’s Fayetteville Water Design Center. There he was able to play a key role in projects across the region, and is putting that experience to good use in his new home.
He’s already building a strong foundation in Greenville to continue the work of delivering sound, creative solutions to clients and serving communities.
