Arkansas Business picks Fair to its list of New Influentials: 20 in their 20s
For almost a decade Arkansas Business has recognized the state’s best and brightest young leaders in its annual list of up-and-comers. Released by the magazine recently, the 2018 edition of The New Influentials: 20 in their 20s includes Mary Fair, a Garver aviation project engineer based in the North Little Rock, Arkansas office.
Fair first joined Garver as an intern while attending the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville after hearing one of Garver’s executives speak to a class. She joined the company full-time in 2012 and since has helped deliver numerous innovative airport improvement projects to her clients, such as Cantrell Field in Conway, Arkansas; Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, Arkansas; and Monroe Regional Airport in Monroe, Louisiana.
“I am grateful that Garver has allowed me the opportunity to work on such exciting hands-on aviation projects,” Fair said. “At Garver, it’s our goal to improve our communities through our projects so it is truly an honor to be recognized along with others doing the same thing in their respective industries.”
Fair was chosen by the magazine from more than 300 applicants, and is joined on the list by professionals crossing several industries, including banking, construction, medicine, and real estate. Along with her work for Garver, Fair has volunteered with Make-A-Wish Mid-South and the Junior League of Little Rock and she is the current president of the Arkansas Society of Professional Engineers’ Central Chapter.
