Water Design Centers Director
“Having the most experienced professionals, with discipline-specific expertise, working under one roof allows us to provide the most efficient service to our clients and is a key advantage of our WDCs,” said Water Design Centers Director John Cutright, PE.
Expected to grow to over 100 team members, the Greenville WDC will be comprised of internal transfers and strategic new hires to best serve the Eastern region. As Garver’s fourth WDC, it joins WDCs in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Harlingen and College Station, Texas that already collaborate with Garver’s local teams to successfully deliver sound solutions and customized quality designs.
“Our in-person collaboration and small teams approach means we’re able to offer the unique expertise and creativity necessary for each project.”
Chris Gatling, PE
Water Design Center Manager
Chris Gatling, PE, an engineer serving as the Civil Team Leader in Garver’s Fayetteville WDC, has been promoted and tasked with leading the new Greenville location.
“Our in-person collaboration and small teams approach means we’re able to offer the unique expertise and creativity necessary for each project,” Gatling said. “And it means that we offer more mentoring and leadership opportunities to team members, making our operation nimble and more effective overall, which ends up benefiting the client.”
"I’m excited to work with Chris and the rest of the team to help ensure a successful launch of our latest WDC."
Harry Elliott, PE
Water Design Center Operations Leader
In addition, Garver’s Harry Elliott will be based in Greenville while serving as Structural Group Lead as well as Operations Leader for all WDCs, managing assignments and utilization and tracking project progress and deliverables.
“We’ve proven that this method works in providing the most efficient designs to our communities,” Elliott said. “I’m excited to work with Chris and the rest of the team to help ensure a successful launch of our latest WDC.”
Garver WDCs are dynamic community partners, working with local universities and technical colleges, and the Greenville WDC will be no exception. These partnerships keep Garver design centers at the forefront of research and industry innovation, ready to provide high quality deliverables to clients.
