Three honored with Spirit of Garver Award

Given annually to employees who exhibit a passion for their profession and a dedication to upholding the company’s values and standards, the Spirit of Garver Award is the highest individual honor bestowed upon a Garver employee.

Garver honors these high-achieving individuals at Summit, an annual gathering of Garver employees from across the country. This year, at Summit 2022 in Kansas City, Missouri, a committee of company leaders named Transportation Project Manager Thomas Cusick, Water Business Development Team Leader Krysten Marshall, and Talent Acquisition Specialist Vanessa Ross as the latest winners. Each received a travel voucher worth $3,500 and company recognition.

As a project manager on Garver’s Transportation Planning and Traffic Team, Cusick, based in Dallas, works with municipalities and agencies across the country on maintenance of traffic plans, signing plans, operational analysis, and more. He was also instrumental in the opening of Garver’s new Downtown Dallas office.

Marshall, based in Norman, Oklahoma, is a known thought leader in the water and wastewater industry and is also one of the primary leaders behind the growth and strategy for Garver’s Water and Wastewater Team.

Ross, who works remotely, is at the frontline of evaluating all potential hires and employee referrals and has dedicated herself to finding the best employees for Garver. The three were selected from a group of 16 finalists, which came from a collection of nominations made by their colleagues.
