McAnally named to Airport Business Top 40 Under 40 list
McAnally was chosen from a group of up-and-coming leaders working to make an impact on aviation systems across the country.
Garver's Dallas Aviation Leader Mitchell McAnally PE, PMP, was recently recognized by Airport Business magazine as a young professional on the rise in the aviation industry. Based in Garver's Frisco, Texas, office, McAnally was chosen from a group of up-and-coming leaders working to make an impact on aviation systems across the country.
Since the start of his career in 2008, McAnally's leadership, collaborative nature, and can-do attitude have helped grow the Texas airports Garver serves from three to over 40. He has gone from managing $12 million in airport improvements to over $649 million in total construction.
Having worked on over 50 projects at 11 of the busiest commercial service airports in Texas, McAnally has extensive experience in all aspects of the engineering process and is adept at engaging with local, state, and federal agencies. It's a breadth of expertise that has served his clients well. Currently, he leads a team of engineers focused on providing Texas airports with tailored design solutions.
"As a project manager, my team's impact on airport layouts, designs, and terminal experiences is helping to create seamless travel connections for the people and airports we serve."

"I feel honored to serve my home state and contribute to improving the Texas aviation industry," said McAnally. "I've been lucky enough in my career to have worked in many different aspects of the industry and value the relationships I have made in the aviation community. As a project manager, my team's impact on airport layouts, designs, and terminal experiences is helping to create seamless travel connections for the people and airports we serve."
McAnally has a heart for uplifting his community – whether that is through innovative aviation infrastructure or spending his time volunteering. McAnally helps his community outside the office by volunteering at the Frontiers of Flight Museum during engineering week, a program that gives students in the Dallas Independent School District the opportunity to learn about STEM career opportunities in an aviation environment.
"Mitchell approaches every project with enthusiasm and diligence," said Garver Director of Aviation Frank McIllwain, PE. "He deserves a place on this list for his laudable commitment to supporting the aviation industry in Texas.
