Porras-Mendoza and Boysen honored with AMTA Awards
One Water Practice Leader Yuliana Porras-Mendoza and Process Team Leader Buddy Boysen, PE, PMP, were each honored with service awards at this year’s Membrane Technology Conference & Exposition, hosted by the American Membrane Technology Association and the American Water Works Association in Knoxville, Tennessee.
In being honored with the AMTA Distinguished Service Award, Porras-Mendoza was recognized for her dedication to the organization while with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, while Boysen was recognized for his time on the AMTA Board of Directors. The awards honor outstanding performance by individuals and companies furthering AMTA’s mission to advance the understanding and use of membrane technology to treat municipal, industrial, commercial, agricultural, and waste waters.
“Throughout my career, I’ve focused my research on innovative technologies, such as membranes,” said Porras-Mendoza. “At Garver, we are always looking at ways to diversify how we approach projects to better serve clients and look at challenges through a new lens. I’m proud to be recognized for this work.”
