Criswell chosen to lead SMPS Oklahoma
Garver will again have a leading voice in an organization instrumental in advancing business development opportunities for A-E firms in Oklahoma. Senior Proposal Coordinator Paige Criswell was recently named president-elect for the Society for Marketing Professional Services Oklahoma chapter. Criswell, based in Garver’s Tulsa office, will serve as president-elect in 2019-2020 and as chapter president in 2020-2021.
A member of SMPS for five years, Criswell most recently served as the chapter’s membership chair, helping the organization grow to nearly 100 active members. She will follow Garver Regional Marketing Administrator Cindy Gran, who currently serves as past-president, in leading a chapter that is part of a national organization aimed at strengthening the A-E industry through networking, educational programs, and certification.
“I couldn’t possibly give SMPS enough credit for fostering my personal and professional growth,” Criswell said. “I hope to continue moving the organization forward through valuable educational programs and networking events that allow us to aid in the business development efforts of A-E firms.”
Criswell and Gran join several other Garver employees serving SMPS at the national and local levels. Communications Team Manager Guy Choate will serve as programs chair for the 2020 SMPS Southern Regional Conference in Fort Worth, Texas; Marketing Coordinator Marie O’Quinn is currently treasurer of the SMPS Kansas City chapter; and Texas Water Business Planning Manager Heather Wootton serves on the SMPS Dallas membership committee.
