WELCOA names Garver a Platinum Well Workplace

Garver has been named a Platinum Well Workplace by the Wellness Council of America for its dedication to a comprehensive, corporate-wide wellness program that promotes quality workplace flexibility.

Garver was one of two companies nationwide to be recognized at the Platinum level. WELCOA, one of the nation’s most-respected resources for building high-performing, healthy workplaces, acknowledges Garver has met the highest standards of wellness support and has distinguished itself as a leader in workplace wellness promotion. Garver has previously attained WELCOA recognition at the Gold level, and is the only company in Arkansas to receive such distinction since 2017.

“Through coordination across all levels of the company, we have created a robust program that offers innovative and comprehensive wellness services to empower employees to take responsibility for their overall well-being—the physical, mental, social, financial, and occupational aspects of a positive lifestyle,” said Wellness Team Manager Sarah Palmiero.

Created in 2006, Garver Wellness has become a key pillar to the firm’s growth. Each of Garver’s nearly 800 employees enjoy the benefits of an in-house Wellness Team available for health consultations, personal training and nutrition assessments, and on-site biometric screenings. Other benefits include, free on-site exercise facilities or gym-fee reimbursement; a points program that enables employees to reduce insurance premiums; and an internal wellness portal containing biometric outcome data and educational materials.
