Buchanan joins Garver’s Transportation Team in Tulsa
As a Project Manager, Seth Buchanan will help expand Garver's transportation services across Oklahoma.
Born and raised in the state, Seth Buchanan knows Oklahoma, and Oklahoma and its communities know him.
Buchanan, who has spent more than a decade delivering transportation infrastructure improvements across his home state, has joined Garver as a Transportation Project Manager based in Tulsa. He will work with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority (OTA), and municipalities to plan, design, and construct critical infrastructure projects across the state.

Over his 15 years in the transportation industry in Oklahoma, Buchanan has cultivated expertise in both construction and design. He brings with him a broad understanding of the state and a passion for helping to solve its most pressing transportation challenges. His experience includes a wide range of projects from rural highway widening projects to large urban interchanges. He has specific skills in constructability and phasing of large urban expressways and interchanges that stem from his experience in the construction sector, significant projects include the I-44 Interchange at US-75, I-444 from I-244 to US-75 (south leg of the Tulsa IDL) , and the SH-51 and US-177 Intersection replacement and bridge over Boomer Creek in Stillwater.

Buchanan’s project management skills include contract administration, cost estimating, subconsultant agreements and coordination, team and production management, and presentations for public/tribal/stakeholder meetings. His design experience includes geometric design and modeling for highways and intersections, drainage design, construction sequencing, estimating, quantity calculations, and right of way documents. Seth also performs QA/QC reviews of plans bringing his unique perspective from both his design and construction experience.
