Garver rises on ENR's annual Top 200 Environmental Firms list
Growth throughout Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and the West within its Transportation Planning & Environmental and Water teams helped Garver make a significant jump on Engineering News-Record’s annual list of Top 200 Environmental Firms released recently.
A year after appearing on the list for the first time in 2019, Garver is No. 147 this year, a jump of more than 30 spots on the list that tracks percentage of gross revenue reported from environmental services over the previous year.
"Garver Water continues to build our team focused around fanatical client service,” said Jeff Sober, PE, Garver Texas and West Region Water Director. “We have focused on a strategic investment in our Water Technology Team, as well as expertise in key market areas such as water supply, water reuse, and wastewater treatment; we work every day to pair the most innovative expertise with the communities that need it the most.”
Garver’s expanding Water Team, comprised of accomplished engineers, design professionals, and scientists, increased its environmental contributions through growth in Texas, including increased wastewater projects in North Texas and large drinking water programs in Enid, Oklahoma and Wichita, Kansas.
Garver’s Transportation Planning & Environmental Team has increased its efforts in providing clients with GIS, endangered species, and environmental planning services in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Garver’s Hydrology & Hydraulics Team continues to place itself on the forefront of innovative applications such as two-dimensional hydraulic modeling for transportation projects. To further those efforts, the team added expertise in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Texas.
"Our focus remains on increasing our capabilities to provide clients with the most comprehensive services to seamlessly navigate the complex environmental processes,” said Wendy Travis, AICP, Garver Transportation Planning & Environmental Team Leader. “With added staff providing a wider variety of services, that process is now more efficient than ever.”
