Holder named new ACEC Arkansas President
Garver Director of Transportation Jerry Holder, PE, has been named president of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Arkansas for 2022-2023, a position from which he'll continue to support the advancement of infrastructure in the state of Garver’s founding more than a century ago.
Holder, who served as president-elect this past year and secretary in 2020-2021, has spent almost four decades delivering infrastructure solutions across the country, including almost two decades in his home state. He has served as Garver’s Director of Transportation since 2012.
“For decades, ACEC has acted as a foundation for the profession and the firms that comprise it, and I’m happy to play my role in helping advance that mission.”

“I’m proud to hold this leadership position because I know how integral ACEC Arkansas is to infrastructure development across the state,” Holder said. “For decades, ACEC has acted as a foundation for the profession and the firms that comprise it, and I’m happy to play my role in helping advance that mission.”
ACEC Arkansas (ACEC/A) provides executives of private engineering firms with the tools and educational opportunities to be better business owners and managers. As a state chapter, ACEC/A presents a strong, cohesive voice for the profession in local and national legislative and policy debates to ensure that firms can compete fairly in an increasingly aggressive world market.
Holder is joined on the board of directors by other leading industry voices across the state, including Garver Bridge Team Leader Lawren Wilcox, PE, who is currently serving as Senior State Director. He also joins former Garver executives Brock Johnson (2001-2002), Dan Williams (2007-2008), and Bert Parker (2013-2014) in serving as president.
