Garver welcomes Ryan Opgenorth as its new Texas Water Infrastructure Leader
Garver values and prioritizes providing the best expertise and project management support to clients. So, when it came to finding the right person to be the infrastructure lead to support the communities it serves Garver turned to Ryan Opgenorth to become the new Texas Water Infrastructure Leader.
Opgenorth brings over 14 years of experience solely dedicated to infrastructure projects. His experience covers both water and wastewater infrastructure, from pipelines as small as eight inches to ones as large as 96 inches. He also has extensive experience with pump stations, lift stations, all types of tanks, and intake structures. “If it moves water in any capacity, I’ve worked on that kind of project,” said Opgenorth.
His role at Garver will be to manage projects and serve as an expert technical resource for any infrastructure project across Garver’s footprint. He’ll connect with industry leaders, build client relationships, and serve as a senior advisor, especially supporting Garver’s Texas markets.
"Water is a precious resource, and one that is critically scarce in regions of Texas, so being able to help provide that resource to communities through long-lasting infrastructure projects means everything to me."

In his first week at Garver, Opgenorth has already begun supporting projects. Garver’s Texas Region Water Director Randy McIntyre said, “Ryan has hit the ground running on day one. He’s already working on an elevated storage tank and an interceptor project. He didn’t waste any time getting started.”
It’s not surprising Opgenorth wasted no time. He considers it a privilege and honor to provide such an essential and basic resource to communities. “Water is a precious resource, and one that is critically scarce in regions of Texas,” said Opgenorth, “So being able to get into communities through long-lasting infrastructure projects means everything to me.”
Opgenorth values connecting with people and developing relationships with clients and his internal teams so Garver’s one-team approach and collaborative culture was a perfect fit for him.
Garver is excited to welcome Opgenorth and trusts that he has its clients' best interests at heart.
