    Commissioning services affirm clients’ desires

Maintaining peak performance

Garver has been providing innovative, cost-effective designs since Neal Garver started the company in 1919 in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. A reputation built first on bridge design and structural engineering, evolved by servicing aviation clients in the 1950s, and water clients in the 1960s.

Almost a century later, Garver is still making its decisions based on the clients’ best interest, evidenced most recently by the addition of commissioning services. Provided by its Facilities Design Team, Garver’s certified commissioning agents ensure that a design is completed to the owner’s specifications and is operating to their potential with a thorough process that reduces energy consumption, as well as operational and maintenance costs.

“Backed by our long-standing expertise, we can commission projects designed by our award-winning team, which ensures a streamlined process, or those designed by another firm, which evaluates the project at every step,” said Project Manager Brad Bradshaw.

Garver can provide new-building commissioning, ensuring top performance through post-construction; recommissioning, which ensures an already-commissioned building is still reaching top performance; and retro-commissioning, which improves a building that did not previously go through the process.
