Runway Status Lights Inspection

Construction Oversight

Garver was chosen by Saab Sensis Corporation (SSC) to provide construction oversight and coordination on design build projects that provided runway status lights at John F. Kennedy International, San Francisco International and Baltimore International Airport. Garver supervised the construction subcontractor, provided inspection, and coordinated all activities with airport operations on behalf of SSC and the Federal Aviation Administration. Garver’s team was involved in all aspects of construction, including installation of equipment buildings and fiber optic communications on a project that installed in-pavement red lights at strategic runway and taxiway intersections. Each light features an individual light controller that acts as a switch to turn the light on and off.

They didn’t necessarily need a large corporation to do their job. They needed someone they could trust.
