Garver provided environmental services for a four-lane roadway in northwest Arkansas, which included construction observation services for the installation of stream mitigation features. Garver’s environmental responsibilities also included Section 404 permitting, conducting of a functional value assessment for each tributary on the project utilizing current standards, reviewing water quality certification, and obtaining agency approval of the mitigation plan. The work required coordination with several agencies, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality, the State Historic Preservation office, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
