Garver’s qualified Hydrology & Hydraulics Team uses the most cutting edge technology to provide transportation agencies with the pivotal information needed to make precise decisions regarding bridge locations and size.

Before bridge design can begin, Garver’s team develops detailed flood models to determine its ideal height and size. Using newly-developed two-dimensional (2D) hydraulic modeling, the team can more accurately simulate flow in a floodplain, with velocity in two directions in the horizontal plane. In addition to bridges, the team can assist with stream erosion control and drainage manual updates.
