Bentonville WRRF NPDES Permit Renewal
Minimizing efforts to renew NPDES permitting
Garver helped the City of Bentonville, Arkansas complete and submit the necessary forms to renew the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for its wastewater treatment plant.
The renewal included renaming the plant to the Bentonville Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF), completion of Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) NPDES Permit Application Form 1 (including general information, facility and outfall information, waste storage and disposal information, and signatory requirements), completion of ADEQ Priority Pollutant Scan (PPS), and Environmental Protection Agency Form 2A (including basic information, additional application information, certification, and toxicity testing data).
Garver worked with a certified laboratory subconsultant and the City to provide the required data. Based upon Garver’s work at the WRRF over the last decade, including master plans, capital improvement projects, and ADEQ permitting, Garver was able to use previous information and minimize efforts on the NPDES permit renewal.
