NTMWD McKinney Eastside Interceptor

Rehabilitating pipeline to accommodate rapid growth

To proactively anticipate rapid growth in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and upgrade aging infrastructure, the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) contracted Garver to provide preliminary design, final design, and construction administration for 28,000 linear feet of 48- to 66-inch gravity interceptor improvements. After evaluating options to rehabilitate or replace the existing deteriorating pipe, Garver prepared a preliminary design report comparing capacity improvement alternatives for the Eastside interceptor system. Additionally, Garver is supporting the NTMWD with the preparation and submittal of the Project Information Form (PIF) and application for the Texas Water Development Board’s (TWDB) Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF).
