Sky Harbor International Airport Utility Relocation

Utility Relocation

Garver was selected to conduct a study to relocate existing water and sanitary sewer lines outside the limits of the airport-controlled portion of Sky Harbor International Airport. This plan will identify the preferred method for converting the airport and associated facilities into commercial City of Phoenix Water Services Department customers. Garver will evaluate relocation options for existing utilities and conduct condition assessments of remaining utilities. The evaluation of alternatives will require extensive coordination with the City’s aviation, transportation, and water services departments. Preliminary plans will be provided for approximately 40,000 feet of 24-inch waterline and over one mile of sanitary sewer lines.
